Job Summary
GradeBuzz is seeking a highly strategic and data-driven Product Manager to lead the design and execution of gamification strategies aimed at enhancing student engagement and retention. This role will focus on building innovative, user-centric features that motivate learners through rewards, challenges, and personalized experiences. The ideal candidate will bridge the gap between user needs, business goals, and technical execution to deliver impactful product outcomes in a fast-paced EdTech environment.
Key Responsibilities
Define and execute the product roadmap for gamification and retention features aligned with business objectives.
Design engaging systems such as rewards, badges, leaderboards, streaks, and progression models.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including engineering, design, marketing, and analytics.
Conduct user research and analyze behavioral data to identify engagement gaps and opportunities.
Monitor key performance indicators (KPIs) such as retention rates, daily active users (DAU), and session duration.
Run A/B tests and experiments to continuously improve feature performance.
Translate complex requirements into clear product specifications and user stories.
Stay updated on industry trends in gamification, EdTech, and user engagement strategies.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Business, Computer Science, Product Management, or a related field.
Strong understanding of gamification principles and behavioral psychology.
Proficiency in product management tools such as Jira, Confluence, or similar platforms.
Experience with data analysis tools like Google Analytics, Mixpanel, or Amplitude.
Excellent communication, leadership, and stakeholder management skills.
Ability to think strategically while executing tactically.
Experience
3–6 years of experience in product management, preferably in EdTech, gaming, or consumer apps.
Proven track record of launching and scaling engagement or retention-focused features.
Experience working in Agile/Scrum environments.
Exposure to mobile-first or web-based platforms is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time position (40 hours per week).
