Job Summary

GradeBuzz is seeking a highly creative and experienced Senior UI/UX Designer to lead the design of intuitive, engaging, and mobile-first learning experiences. This role focuses on crafting seamless user journeys for our next-generation educational platforms, ensuring accessibility, usability, and visual excellence. The ideal candidate will have a strong command of Figma and a deep understanding of user-centered design principles tailored for mobile-first environments.

Key Responsibilities

Lead end-to-end UI/UX design processes from research and ideation to prototyping and final delivery.

Design intuitive, visually appealing mobile-first interfaces for learning platforms and dashboards.

Create wireframes, user flows, interactive prototypes, and high-fidelity mockups using Figma.

Conduct user research, usability testing, and incorporate feedback into iterative design improvements.

Collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and stakeholders to align design with business goals.

Develop and maintain design systems, style guides, and UI component libraries.

Ensure designs meet accessibility standards and enhance user engagement and retention.

Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and best practices in EdTech and mobile design.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors or Masters degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, or a related field.

Expertise in Figma, including prototyping, auto-layouts, and design systems.

Strong portfolio showcasing mobile-first UI/UX design projects.

Solid understanding of user-centered design, interaction design, and visual design principles.

Experience in designing for mobile applications (iOS/Android) and responsive web platforms.

Knowledge of usability testing methods and user research techniques.

Familiarity with front-end development principles (HTML, CSS) is a plus.

Excellent communication and collaboration skills.

Experience

5+ years of professional experience in UI/UX design.

Proven experience working on mobile-first or mobile-only product designs.

Prior experience in EdTech, SaaS platforms, or learning management systems is highly preferred.
