Key Responsibilities
Manage and execute the monthly, quarterly, and annual general ledger close processes for multiple international entities.
Prepare and review journal entries, account reconciliations, and variance analyses.
Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards and internal accounting policies.
Maintain the integrity of the general ledger and financial reporting systems.
Coordinate with international subsidiaries to ensure timely submission of financial data.
Lead the preparation of consolidated financial reports for global operations.
Support internal and external audits by preparing schedules, documentation, and responding to auditor inquiries.
Review and improve accounting processes and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams including FP&A, Tax, and Treasury for accurate financial reporting.
Assist in system improvements, automation initiatives, and ERP optimization.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
CPA, CA, ACCA, or equivalent professional certification preferred.
Strong knowledge of general ledger accounting and international financial reporting.
Proficiency with ERP systems (NetSuite, SAP, Oracle, or similar).
Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.
Excellent problem-solving, organizational, and analytical skills.
Strong written and verbal communication abilities.
Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
Experience
5+ years of progressive accounting experience, with at least 2 years in a senior GL or close-focused role.
Experience handling multi-entity or multinational accounting operations.
Background in international entity close, consolidations, and financial reporting.
Experience working in a remote or global team environment is highly desirable.
Working Hours
Full-time remote position.
Standard Monday to Friday schedule with occasional flexibility required during monthly or quarterly close periods.
