Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Senior Accountant – Aerospace & Satellite Technology to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP or IFRS standards.

Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and adjustments.

Oversee revenue recognition for long-term aerospace and satellite technology projects.

Conduct variance analysis and provide insights into financial performance.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax laws, and internal policies.

Collaborate with project managers and engineering teams to monitor project budgets and financial forecasts.

Support external and internal audits by preparing necessary documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.

Assist with financial planning, budgeting, and forecasting activities.

Improve accounting processes, systems, and internal controls to enhance efficiency and accuracy.

Provide mentorship and guidance to junior accounting staff when required.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA is strongly preferred.

Strong understanding of GAAP/IFRS accounting principles.

Proficiency with accounting software and ERP systems.

Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Excel and financial modeling tools.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain financial information clearly.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of professional accounting experience.

Prior experience in aerospace, defense, satellite technology, engineering, or high-tech manufacturing industries is highly desirable.

Proven experience handling complex financial reporting and project-based accounting.

Experience supporting audits and compliance processes.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard working schedule of 40 hours per week, typically aligned with business hours.
