Job Summary

As a Senior GL Accountant, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams including finance, operations, and compliance departments to maintain accurate financial records, strengthen internal controls, and contribute to strategic financial decision-making. Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the general ledger accounting functions for semiconductor manufacturing operations.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with applicable accounting standards.

Oversee journal entries, account reconciliations, accruals, and adjustments.

Lead the month-end and year-end closing processes, ensuring accuracy and timeliness.

Analyze financial results and provide insights into cost structures and manufacturing expenses.

Ensure compliance with GAAP/IFRS standards, internal policies, and regulatory requirements.

Coordinate with external auditors and assist with audit preparation and documentation.

Monitor and improve internal accounting controls and procedures.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis activities.

Collaborate with operations teams to ensure accurate recording of inventory and manufacturing-related transactions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, CMA, or ACCA preferred.

Strong understanding of General Ledger accounting principles and financial reporting.

Experience working with ERP systems such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite.

Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial analysis tools.

Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to explain complex financial data clearly.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of progressive accounting experience, including significant GL accounting responsibilities.

Prior experience in semiconductor manufacturing, electronics manufacturing, or high-tech industries is highly desirable.

Demonstrated experience handling financial reporting, reconciliations, and audit support in large or multinational organizations.

Experience working with remote or distributed teams is an advantage.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard working schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

Occasional flexibility may be required during month-end, quarter-end, and audit periods.
