Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Work From Home Fixed Asset Manager – Fiber & Network to oversee the management, tracking, and reporting of fixed assets related to fiber infrastructure and network equipment. This role plays a critical part in ensuring the accuracy of asset records, supporting financial reporting, and maintaining compliance with company policies and accounting standards.

The ideal candidate will work closely with finance, engineering, procurement, and operations teams to manage the full lifecycle of fiber and network assets—from acquisition and capitalization to depreciation and disposal. This remote role requires strong analytical skills, excellent communication, and the ability to manage complex asset portfolios in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and maintain the fixed asset register for fiber optic infrastructure and network equipment.

Oversee asset capitalization, depreciation schedules, and asset disposals in accordance with accounting standards and company policies.

Coordinate with engineering and operations teams to track new fiber deployments and network infrastructure additions.

Ensure accurate classification of capital expenditures and operational expenses.

Perform periodic asset reconciliations and audits to ensure asset records are complete and accurate.

Develop and maintain asset management policies and procedures.

Support financial close processes related to fixed assets and capital expenditures.

Prepare fixed asset reports and analysis for senior management and finance leadership.

Collaborate with procurement teams to monitor asset acquisitions and vendor documentation.

Ensure compliance with internal controls, accounting regulations, and audit requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong understanding of fixed asset accounting principles and capital expenditure management.

Proficiency with ERP systems and asset management software.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting tools.

Excellent analytical and organizational abilities.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while collaborating with cross-functional teams.

High attention to detail and strong problem-solving capabilities.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in fixed asset accounting, asset management, or financial operations.

Experience managing telecommunications, fiber infrastructure, or network-related assets is highly preferred.

Proven experience supporting audits and financial reporting processes.

Background working with large-scale asset portfolios in a corporate or technology-driven environment.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).
