Key Responsibilities
Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in accordance with GAAP/IFRS standards.
Manage general ledger activities including journal entries, reconciliations, and account analysis.
Oversee accounting processes related to payment processing, merchant settlements, and transaction flows.
Monitor financial data from payment gateways, processors, and fintech platforms to ensure accuracy.
Support financial audits by preparing documentation and responding to auditor inquiries.
Ensure compliance with financial regulations and internal company policies.
Analyze financial results and provide insights to leadership for strategic planning.
Assist in improving accounting workflows and implementing automation tools.
Collaborate with product and engineering teams to align financial reporting with payment infrastructure systems.
Required Skills and Qualifications
Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.
Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is preferred.
Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and reconciliation processes.
Familiarity with fintech ecosystems, payment gateways, and digital transaction systems.
Proficiency in accounting software and ERP systems (e.g., NetSuite, SAP, or QuickBooks).
Advanced Excel and financial analysis skills.
