Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a detail-oriented and motivated Remote Staff Accountant – Media & Streaming Services to join our dynamic finance team. Key Responsibilities

Maintain accurate financial records including general ledger entries, reconciliations, and journal postings.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with accounting standards.

Assist in revenue recognition processes related to media subscriptions, advertising, and streaming services.

Reconcile bank statements, credit card transactions, and internal accounts regularly.

Support the accounts payable and accounts receivable processes.

Assist with budget preparation, forecasting, and financial planning activities.

Prepare documentation and schedules for internal and external audits.

Analyze financial data to identify trends and recommend improvements.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure proper financial reporting for media and digital content operations.

Ensure compliance with tax regulations and company financial policies.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounting principles such as GAAP or IFRS.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial management tools.

Advanced skills in Microsoft Excel and financial reporting systems.

Strong analytical, problem-solving, and organizational skills.

Excellent written and verbal communication abilities.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment while meeting deadlines.

High level of integrity and attention to detail.

Experience

Minimum 2–4 years of professional accounting experience.

Experience working with media, entertainment, or streaming service companies is an advantage.

Prior experience in remote accounting roles or distributed teams is preferred.

Experience with ERP systems such as NetSuite, QuickBooks, or similar platforms is beneficial.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.
