Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Senior Auditor – Retail & Supply Chain to join our dynamic finance and compliance team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading internal and external audit engagements related to retail operations and supply chain processes. The ideal candidate will possess strong analytical skills, deep knowledge of audit methodologies, and a solid understanding of retail inventory management, procurement, logistics, and distribution operations.

As a Senior Auditor, you will collaborate with cross-functional teams to evaluate internal controls, ensure compliance with financial regulations, identify operational risks, and recommend improvements that enhance efficiency and transparency across the organizations supply chain ecosystem.

Key Responsibilities

Plan, execute, and manage internal and operational audits related to retail and supply chain activities.

Evaluate internal control systems to ensure compliance with company policies, accounting standards, and regulatory requirements.

Review procurement, inventory management, warehousing, logistics, and vendor management processes.

Identify financial, operational, and compliance risks within supply chain and retail operations.

Prepare comprehensive audit reports with clear findings, risk assessments, and practical recommendations.

Collaborate with finance, procurement, operations, and logistics teams to implement corrective actions.

Monitor and follow up on audit findings to ensure timely resolution of issues.

Support external audits and regulatory reviews by preparing necessary documentation and evidence.

Analyze large datasets to identify trends, irregularities, or control weaknesses.

Contribute to the continuous improvement of audit frameworks, methodologies, and internal controls.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or ACCA are highly preferred.

Strong understanding of audit standards, risk management frameworks, and compliance requirements.

Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills.

Proficiency in audit software, ERP systems, and data analysis tools.

Strong written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to manage multiple audit assignments and meet deadlines.

High level of integrity, attention to detail, and professional judgment.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in auditing, preferably within the retail, logistics, or supply chain sector.

Proven experience in internal audit, operational audit, or risk advisory roles.

Experience working with large-scale retail or distribution networks is an advantage.

Prior experience in a remote or global work environment is beneficial.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard working hours: Monday to Friday (8 hours per day).
