Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented Remote Senior Accountant – E-commerce & Logistics to join our growing finance team. This role is responsible for overseeing financial operations related to online retail platforms, logistics transactions, and supply chain accounting.

The ideal candidate will possess strong accounting expertise, experience working with e-commerce financial data, and the ability to manage complex reconciliations across multiple sales channels and logistics partners. As a Senior Accountant, you will play a key role in ensuring financial accuracy, compliance, and strategic reporting to support the companys continued expansion.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee daily accounting operations related to e-commerce transactions and logistics expenses.

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements.

Reconcile online marketplace payments, merchant accounts, and payment gateways.

Monitor inventory accounting, cost of goods sold (COGS), and logistics expenses.

Ensure accurate recording of revenue from multiple e-commerce platforms.

Coordinate with logistics teams to track shipping costs, warehouse expenses, and fulfillment charges.

Conduct account reconciliations and resolve discrepancies promptly.

Assist in budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning processes.

Ensure compliance with financial regulations, tax requirements, and accounting standards.

Support internal and external audits by preparing required documentation.

Improve accounting processes and financial systems for efficiency and scalability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CMA is highly preferred.

Strong understanding of financial reporting, accounting principles, and regulatory compliance.

Experience with accounting software and ERP systems.

Proficiency in Microsoft Excel and financial data analysis.

Excellent attention to detail and analytical skills.

Strong communication and collaboration abilities.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of accounting experience, preferably in e-commerce, logistics, or retail industries.

Experience managing financial data from multiple online sales channels.

Prior experience with inventory accounting and supply chain cost analysis is highly desirable.

Experience working with remote teams or global organizations is a plus.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Flexible working hours depending on project deadlines and business needs.
