Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly organized and experienced Accounts Payable (AP) Manager – Multi-Currency Payments to join our growing remote finance team. In this role, you will oversee global accounts payable operations, ensuring accurate processing of vendor payments across multiple currencies while maintaining strong financial controls and compliance standards.

The ideal candidate will have extensive experience in international payment processing, vendor management, and financial reporting. This position plays a critical role in optimizing AP workflows, managing payment schedules, and supporting strategic financial operations within a dynamic and fast-paced remote environment.

Key Responsibilities

Manage and oversee the full-cycle accounts payable process, including invoice processing, approvals, and payment execution.

Handle multi-currency vendor payments across global markets while ensuring compliance with international financial regulations.

Maintain strong relationships with global vendors and resolve payment discrepancies promptly.

Monitor AP aging reports and ensure timely and accurate payments.

Implement and maintain internal financial controls and audit-ready documentation.

Coordinate with treasury and finance teams to manage foreign exchange exposure and optimize payment timing.

Supervise and mentor AP team members, ensuring high productivity and process consistency.

Analyze payment trends and identify opportunities to improve efficiency and reduce transaction costs.

Support month-end and year-end closing activities related to accounts payable.

Collaborate with cross-functional teams including procurement, accounting, and finance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong knowledge of accounts payable processes and international payment systems.

Experience with ERP systems and accounting software (such as SAP, Oracle, or NetSuite).

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication and interpersonal skills to interact with global stakeholders.

High level of attention to detail and accuracy in financial data management.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities in a remote environment.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of experience in Accounts Payable or Finance roles.

At least 2–3 years of leadership or managerial experience in AP operations.

Proven experience handling multi-currency transactions and international vendor payments.

Experience working in global or multinational organizations is highly preferred.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Flexible working hours with occasional coordination across global time zones.

Standard work schedule: Monday to Friday (40 hours per week).

Proficiency in financial reporting and reconciliation.

Ability to manage large transaction volumes efficiently.
