Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Cost Analyst – Hardware & Logistics Supply Chain to support cost optimization and financial planning across our global hardware procurement and logistics operations. You will collaborate closely with procurement, finance, supply chain, and logistics teams to identify cost-saving opportunities while ensuring quality and timely delivery of hardware components and products. Key Responsibilities

Analyze hardware procurement costs, logistics expenses, and supply chain financial data to identify cost-saving opportunities.

Develop and maintain cost models for hardware components, transportation, warehousing, and distribution.

Collaborate with procurement teams to evaluate supplier quotes, negotiate pricing strategies, and assess cost competitiveness.

Monitor freight, shipping, and logistics costs to ensure alignment with budget and operational targets.

Prepare detailed financial reports, dashboards, and cost analysis summaries for management.

Support budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis related to supply chain operations.

Identify inefficiencies in the supply chain and recommend improvements to reduce operational costs.

Track market trends in hardware components and logistics pricing to anticipate cost fluctuations.

Work cross-functionally with finance, operations, and vendor management teams to optimize supply chain performance.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Finance, Accounting, Supply Chain Management, Business Administration, or a related field.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities with attention to detail.

Proficiency in data analysis tools such as Excel, Google Sheets, or financial modeling software.

Familiarity with supply chain analytics tools or ERP systems (e.g., SAP, Oracle, NetSuite).

Excellent communication and presentation skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment and manage multiple priorities.

Strong understanding of cost structures, pricing strategies, and logistics operations.

Experience

2–5 years of experience in cost analysis, financial analysis, supply chain finance, or logistics cost management.

Experience working with procurement or hardware supply chain environments is highly preferred.

Prior experience in remote or distributed teams will be considered an advantage.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Flexible working hours depending on project requirements and team collaboration across time zones.

Standard workweek: 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday.
