Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Remote Financial Reporting Manager – IFRS & GAAP to lead and oversee the organizations financial reporting processes. This role is responsible for ensuring the accuracy, integrity, and compliance of financial statements with International Financial Reporting Standards (IFRS) and Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP).

The ideal candidate will play a key role in preparing consolidated financial reports, supporting executive decision-making, coordinating audits, and implementing best practices in financial governance. This position requires a strategic thinker who can collaborate with cross-functional teams while maintaining strict financial compliance and transparency.

Key Responsibilities

Prepare and review monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements in compliance with IFRS and GAAP standards.

Manage the financial reporting cycle, ensuring timely and accurate submission of reports to internal and external stakeholders.

Oversee consolidation of financial data from multiple departments and business units.

Coordinate with internal and external auditors during financial audits and regulatory reviews.

Analyze financial results and provide insights, variance analysis, and performance reports to senior management.

Develop and implement internal controls to strengthen financial governance and reporting accuracy.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and corporate policies related to financial reporting.

Collaborate with finance, tax, and operations teams to ensure consistency in financial data and reporting practices.

Identify opportunities to streamline reporting processes and enhance financial systems efficiency.

Support strategic initiatives by providing financial forecasts, modeling, and reporting insights.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, or a related field.

Professional certification such as CPA, ACCA, or CA preferred.

Strong knowledge of IFRS and GAAP reporting standards.

Advanced proficiency in financial reporting tools, ERP systems, and Microsoft Excel.

Excellent analytical, organizational, and problem-solving skills.

Strong communication skills with the ability to present complex financial information clearly.

Ability to manage multiple deadlines in a fast-paced environment.

High attention to detail and commitment to financial accuracy and compliance.

Experience

Minimum 7–10 years of experience in financial reporting, accounting, or corporate finance.

Proven experience preparing and reviewing financial statements under IFRS and GAAP frameworks.

Experience working with multinational organizations or publicly listed companies is highly desirable.

Prior leadership or team management experience is an advantage.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.

Standard working schedule of 40 hours per week, typically Monday through Friday.

Flexibility may be required during month-end, quarter-end, and year-end closing periods.
