The Elite Job is seeking a highly analytical and detail-oriented Remote Fund Accountant – Crypto Hedge Fund Specialist to support the financial operations of a dynamic crypto-focused hedge fund environment. As a Remote Fund Accountant, you will be responsible for maintaining accurate financial records, calculating Net Asset Value (NAV), preparing financial statements, and ensuring regulatory compliance for crypto-related investment portfolios. You will collaborate with portfolio managers, compliance teams, and external auditors to ensure transparent and efficient fund accounting processes. Key Responsibilities

Maintain and reconcile daily accounting records for crypto hedge fund portfolios.

Calculate and verify Net Asset Value (NAV) for digital asset funds.

Record cryptocurrency transactions including trades, staking rewards, and token swaps.

Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial reports for internal stakeholders and investors.

Monitor blockchain transactions and reconcile them with internal accounting systems.

Assist with fund audits and coordinate with external auditors and administrators.

Track fund performance metrics and provide financial insights to portfolio managers.

Ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and financial reporting standards.

Support investor reporting, including capital statements and performance reports.

Improve accounting workflows through automation tools and crypto accounting software.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Economics, or a related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA, ACCA, or CFA (preferred).

Strong knowledge of hedge fund accounting and investment fund structures.

Familiarity with cryptocurrency markets, blockchain transactions, and digital asset custody.

Proficiency in accounting software and financial reporting tools.

Advanced Microsoft Excel and data analysis skills.

Strong analytical and problem-solving abilities.

Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Ability to work independently in a remote environment with high attention to detail.

Experience

Minimum 3–5 years of experience in fund accounting, asset management, or financial reporting.

Experience working with hedge funds, investment funds, or cryptocurrency funds is highly desirable.

Prior exposure to crypto accounting platforms, digital asset wallets, and blockchain explorers is an advantage.

Experience handling multi-currency portfolios and complex financial instruments is preferred.

Working Hours
