Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a highly attentive and responsible Weekend Content Moderator – Gaming & Short Video Safety to help maintain a safe, respectful, and engaging digital environment across gaming and short-form video platforms. In this remote role, you will review user-generated content to ensure it complies with community guidelines, platform policies, and safety standards.

The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, tech-savvy, and capable of making sound judgments when reviewing potentially sensitive or policy-violating content. This role plays a critical part in protecting online communities by identifying harmful or inappropriate material and ensuring a positive user experience for millions of users worldwide.

Key Responsibilities

Review and moderate user-generated content including gaming clips, short videos, live-stream highlights, comments, and chat interactions.

Identify and remove content that violates platform policies, including harassment, hate speech, graphic content, or harmful behavior.

Enforce community guidelines consistently while maintaining fairness and objectivity.

Escalate complex or sensitive moderation cases to senior moderators or policy teams.

Maintain detailed records of moderation decisions and actions taken.

Monitor trends in gaming and short video content to proactively identify emerging safety concerns.

Participate in periodic training sessions to stay updated on moderation policies and digital safety practices.

Collaborate with global moderation teams to ensure consistent content standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.

Ability to make quick and accurate decisions while reviewing high volumes of content.

Strong attention to detail and ability to follow moderation guidelines precisely.

Basic understanding of social media platforms, gaming culture, and short-form video ecosystems.

Comfortable working with digital moderation tools and dashboards.

Emotional resilience and the ability to handle potentially sensitive content.

Reliable internet connection and a distraction-free remote work environment.

Experience

Previous experience in content moderation, community management, trust & safety, or social media monitoring is preferred.

Experience with gaming platforms, streaming platforms, or short-video platforms is highly advantageous.

Entry-level candidates with strong digital literacy and interest in online safety may also be considered.

Working Hours

Part-time Weekend Role

Saturday and Sunday shifts

Flexible scheduling across global moderation coverage windows

Approximately 12–20 hours per week, depending on operational needs
