Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Senior Auditor – SOC 2 Compliance Expert to join our remote team. In this role, you will be responsible for leading SOC 2 compliance audits, evaluating internal controls, and helping organizations maintain the highest standards of data security, privacy, and operational integrity.

The ideal candidate will possess strong auditing expertise, a deep understanding of SOC 2 frameworks, and the ability to work independently in a remote environment. Key Responsibilities

Lead and manage SOC 2 Type I and Type II audits for various clients across different industries.

Evaluate and document internal controls related to security, availability, confidentiality, processing integrity, and privacy.

Conduct risk assessments and identify gaps in compliance frameworks.

Prepare detailed audit reports, findings, and recommendations for improvement.

Collaborate with IT, security, and compliance teams to implement effective control measures.

Monitor ongoing compliance activities and provide guidance on best practices.

Assist organizations in preparing for external audits and regulatory reviews.

Ensure documentation and evidence collection align with auditing standards.

Stay updated on evolving compliance regulations, cybersecurity standards, and SOC reporting requirements.

Required Skills and Qualifications

Bachelors degree in Accounting, Finance, Information Systems, or related field.

Professional certifications such as CPA, CIA, CISA, or CISSP are highly preferred.

Strong knowledge of SOC 2 frameworks, risk management, and IT control environments.

Proficiency with audit management tools and compliance platforms.

Excellent analytical, documentation, and report-writing skills.

Strong communication skills to effectively present findings to stakeholders.

Ability to work independently and manage multiple audit engagements remotely.

Experience

Minimum 5–8 years of professional auditing experience.

At least 3 years of direct experience in SOC 2 compliance auditing or IT assurance.

Experience working with SaaS, cloud-based systems, or technology-driven organizations is highly desirable.

Proven track record in leading audits and managing client relationships.

Working Hours

Full-time remote position.
