We are looking for a skilled DevOps Engineer with strong expertise in Infrastructure as Code (IaC), specifically Terraform, to design, build, and maintain scalable cloud infrastructure. In this remote role, you will collaborate with engineering and platform teams to automate deployments, improve system reliability, and support modern CI/CD practices.


Key Responsibilities:

  • Design, implement, and maintain Infrastructure as Code using Terraform

  • Build and manage cloud infrastructure on AWS, Azure, or GCP

  • Develop and maintain CI/CD pipelines for infrastructure and application deployments

  • Automate provisioning, scaling, and monitoring of environments

  • Collaborate with developers to support containerized workloads (Docker/Kubernetes)

  • Implement security best practices, IAM policies, and secrets management

  • Monitor system performance, reliability, and cost optimization

  • Troubleshoot infrastructure, deployment, and networking issues

  • Document infrastructure architecture, processes, and standards


Required Skills & Qualifications:

  • Strong hands-on experience with Terraform and IaC best practices

  • Experience with at least one major cloud provider (AWS / Azure / GCP)

  • Solid understanding of CI/CD tools (GitHub Actions, GitLab CI, Jenkins, etc.)

  • Proficiency in Linux systems administration

  • Experience with containerization (Docker) and orchestration (Kubernetes)

  • Knowledge of networking concepts (VPCs, load balancers, DNS, firewalls)

  • Scripting skills in Bash, Python, or similar

  • Experience with monitoring/logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK, CloudWatch)


Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience with Terraform modules, remote state, and workspaces

  • Knowledge of Ansible, Helm, or Packer

  • Familiarity with GitOps workflows

  • Understanding of cloud security and compliance standards

  • Previous experience supporting production-scale systems
