Attention Job Seekers
We are looking for an energetic, organized, and proactive Freelance Studio Assistant/Party Assistant to help bring our creative events and studio sessions to life. This is a versatile, hands-on role where you will support both the behind-the-scenes operations of our creative studio and the front-facing execution of private parties and events. If you are a "people person" who loves creative environments and does not mind rolling up your sleeves to get things done, this is the perfect freelance opportunity for you.
Studio Support: Assist with the setup and breakdown of creative equipment, props, or art supplies for daily studio operations.
Event Execution: Act as a host during parties and events, welcoming guests and ensuring a high-energy, positive atmosphere.
Guest Assistance: Help guests with activities (e.g., photo booth operation, art projects, or interactive games) and manage flow during busy periods.
Logistics: Coordinate deliveries, manage light catering setups, and ensure the studio/event space remains clean and organized throughout the booking.
Content Capture: Occasionally assist in taking "behind-the-scenes" photos or videos for social media during events.
Education: High School Diploma or equivalent; background in Arts, Event Management, or Hospitality is a plus.
Experience: Previous experience in event hosting, retail, hospitality, or as a studio hand is preferred.
Personality: Outgoing, reliable, and able to stay calm under the pressure of a live event.
Physical Ability: Must be comfortable being on your feet for long periods and able to lift/move light furniture or equipment.
Communication: Clear and friendly verbal communication skills to interact with diverse groups of guests.
Problem-Solving: Ability to think on your feet and resolve minor venue or guest issues independently.
Photography (Basic): Familiarity with smartphone photography/videography for social media capturing.
Punctuality: Strict adherence to event call times is a must.
Shift: On-call / Freelance (Primarily Weekends and Evenings).
Schedule: Flexible; based on event bookings and studio projects.
Mode: On-site (Local Studio/Event Venue).
Compensation: Competitive Hourly Rate + Occasional Event Tips.
Benefits: Creative work environment, networking opportunities in the arts/events industry, and flexible scheduling.
