HR Service Jobs is seeking a detail-oriented and reliable Inventory Control Clerk – Cycle Counting & Auditing to support accurate inventory management across our operations. This role is critical to maintaining inventory integrity, identifying discrepancies, and ensuring compliance with internal controls and audit standards. The ideal candidate will have a strong analytical mindset, excellent organizational skills, and hands-on experience with inventory systems and cycle count processes.
Perform regular cycle counts and physical inventory audits in accordance with company policies and schedules.
Investigate, analyze, and reconcile inventory discrepancies, shortages, and overages.
Maintain accurate inventory records in ERP/WMS systems and ensure real-time data integrity.
Collaborate with warehouse, operations, and procurement teams to resolve inventory issues.
Prepare detailed audit reports, variance analyses, and corrective action recommendations.
Support internal and external audits by providing documentation and explanations of inventory processes.
Monitor inventory movements, adjustments, and transactions to ensure compliance with controls.
Assist in developing and improving inventory control procedures and best practices.
Ensure proper labeling, storage, and handling of inventory items.
Strong attention to detail with a high level of accuracy.
Proficiency in inventory management systems (ERP/WMS) and Microsoft Excel.
Ability to analyze data, identify trends, and resolve discrepancies.
Good communication and collaboration skills across cross-functional teams.
Strong organizational and time-management abilities.
Basic understanding of inventory accounting principles and audit processes.
1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse operations, cycle counting, or auditing.
Experience working in logistics, manufacturing, retail, or distribution environments is preferred.
Prior exposure to internal audits or compliance-driven inventory processes is an advantage.
Full-time position.
Standard business hours with flexibility to support inventory counts outside regular hours when required (e.g., month-end or annual audits).
Knowledge of inventory control methods, cycle counting techniques, and audit standards.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Strong problem-solving and critical-thinking skills.
Ability to handle repetitive tasks while maintaining accuracy and focus.
Physical ability to work in a warehouse environment, including standing, walking, and lifting as required.
