Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly skilled and safety-focused Certified Forklift Driver – Stand-Up & Reach Truck to support fast-paced warehouse and distribution operations. This role is critical to ensuring the accurate, safe, and timely movement of materials within the facility. The ideal candidate has proven experience operating stand-up and reach trucks, a strong understanding of warehouse procedures, and a commitment to maintaining a safe and organized work environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Operate stand-up forklifts and reach trucks safely and efficiently to move, load, unload, and store materials.

• Accurately pick, stage, and transport inventory according to work orders and warehouse management system (WMS) instructions.

• Perform daily equipment inspections and report mechanical issues or safety concerns immediately.

• Maintain proper stock rotation and ensure inventory is stored in designated locations.

• Follow all OSHA, company safety standards, and operational procedures at all times.

• Assist with inventory counts, cycle counts, and stock reconciliation as required.

• Keep work areas clean, organized, and free from hazards.

• Collaborate with warehouse associates, supervisors, and logistics teams to meet productivity targets and shipping deadlines.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Valid forklift certification with demonstrated proficiency in stand-up and reach truck operations.

• Strong knowledge of warehouse safety regulations and material handling best practices.

• Ability to read and understand work orders, labels, and basic inventory documentation.

• Good hand-eye coordination and spatial awareness.

• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.

• Strong attention to detail and commitment to accuracy.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of recent experience operating stand-up forklifts and reach trucks in a warehouse or distribution center environment.

• Experience working in high-volume, fast-paced logistics or supply chain operations is preferred.

Working Hours

• Full-time and part-time shifts available.

• Day, evening, and night shifts may be offered depending on operational needs.

• Overtime may be required during peak periods.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• In-depth understanding of warehouse layout, racking systems, and inventory flow.

• Ability to lift, carry, push, or pull materials in accordance with job requirements.

• Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to adapt to changing priorities.

• Basic computer or WMS experience is an advantage.

• Physically able to stand, bend, and operate equipment for extended periods.
