Job Summary

HR Service Jobs is seeking a highly creative and technically skilled Freelance Performance Activewear Designer specializing in Yoga and Compression Gear. This role is ideal for a designer who understands the intersection of fashion, functionality, and performance-driven apparel. The successful candidate will be responsible for conceptualizing, designing, and developing innovative activewear collections that meet the needs of modern athletes and wellness-focused consumers, while aligning with market trends and brand standards.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop performance-driven activewear, including yoga wear, compression apparel, and athleisure collections.

• Create detailed design concepts, sketches, mood boards, and technical design packs.

• Select appropriate fabrics, trims, and construction methods that enhance comfort, flexibility, durability, and performance.

• Collaborate remotely with product developers, pattern makers, and manufacturers to ensure design feasibility and quality standards.

• Stay updated on activewear trends, performance textiles, sustainability practices, and consumer preferences.

• Ensure designs meet functionality requirements such as breathability, stretch, moisture-wicking, and ergonomic fit.

• Revise designs based on feedback and manage multiple design projects simultaneously.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong expertise in performance activewear and compression garment design.

• Proficiency in design software such as Adobe Illustrator, Photoshop, and CAD tools.

• Solid understanding of fabric technologies, including stretch materials, compression fabrics, and sustainable textiles.

• Ability to translate creative ideas into commercially viable products.

• Excellent communication and collaboration skills for remote work environments.

• Strong attention to detail and problem-solving abilities.

Experience

• Minimum 2–5 years of professional experience in activewear, sportswear, or performance apparel design.

• Proven portfolio showcasing yoga wear, compression gear, or technical apparel collections.

• Experience working in a freelance or remote design role is highly preferred.

Working Hours
