Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Entry-Level Solar Photovoltaic (PV) Installation Specialist to join our growing renewable energy team. Key Responsibilities

• Assist senior technicians in the installation, maintenance, and repair of residential and commercial solar PV systems.

• Prepare and organize installation sites, ensuring all tools, equipment, and materials are ready for safe and efficient work.

• Assemble and install solar panels, inverters, and associated electrical components according to technical specifications.

• Conduct system testing and troubleshooting under the guidance of senior staff.

• Maintain accurate records of work completed, including site reports and material usage.

• Follow all safety procedures, company policies, and industry standards during installations.

• Support the team with logistics, inventory management, and daily operational tasks as needed.

• Participate in on-the-job training and certification programs to enhance skills and technical knowledge.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; technical certifications in electrical or renewable energy fields are a plus.

• Basic understanding of electrical systems and willingness to learn solar PV installation techniques.

• Strong mechanical aptitude and problem-solving skills.

• Ability to read and interpret technical drawings, blueprints, and installation manuals.

• Physical fitness and ability to perform manual labor, including lifting, bending, and climbing ladders.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills.

• Attention to detail and commitment to quality workmanship.

• Valid drivers license with a clean driving record.

Experience

• No prior professional experience required; this is an entry-level role.

• Internship or hands-on experience in electrical work, construction, or renewable energy is a plus.

Working Hours

• Full-time position: Monday to Friday, 8:00 AM – 5:00 PM.

• Occasional weekend or extended hours may be required depending on project deadlines.

• Travel to various job sites within the Houston area may be required.
