Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a dedicated and compassionate Licensed Dental Hygienist to join our innovative dental care team. Key Responsibilities

• Conduct thorough oral health assessments and dental hygiene examinations.

• Perform prophylaxis, scaling, root planing, and other periodontal treatments.

• Apply preventive materials such as fluoride and sealants.

• Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols.

• Educate patients on oral hygiene techniques, nutrition, and disease prevention.

• Document patient care accurately and maintain detailed records.

• Collaborate with dentists and dental assistants to develop comprehensive care plans.

• Ensure adherence to infection control and safety standards in all procedures.

• Maintain professional knowledge by participating in continuing education programs.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Current state license as a Dental Hygienist.

• Completion of an Associate Degree or Certificate in Dental Hygiene from an accredited program.

• Strong knowledge of dental hygiene procedures, tools, and safety protocols.

• Excellent communication and patient education skills.

• Ability to work independently and as part of a collaborative dental team.

• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.

• Commitment to providing high-quality patient care.

Experience

• Entry-level to 3 years of experience in dental hygiene preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.

• Experience in general dentistry or specialty practices is an advantage.

Working Hours
