Job Summary

FedEx is seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Warehouse Lead Handler to join our Operations Leadership Training program. This role is designed for individuals who aspire to grow into leadership positions within our warehouse and logistics operations. The ideal candidate will gain hands-on experience overseeing daily warehouse activities, mentoring team members, and ensuring operational excellence while learning leadership skills critical to career advancement at FedEx.

Key Responsibilities

• Participate in FedExs Operations Leadership Training program to develop leadership and management skills.

• Supervise and coordinate daily warehouse operations, including package sorting, loading, and distribution.

• Monitor team performance, provide guidance, and motivate associates to meet operational targets.

• Ensure compliance with safety protocols, company policies, and standard operating procedures.

• Identify process improvements to enhance efficiency, accuracy, and customer satisfaction.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to support seamless logistics and timely deliveries.

• Assist in training new hires and support ongoing professional development of warehouse staff.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent; associate or bachelors degree is a plus.

• Strong leadership potential with excellent interpersonal and communication skills.

• Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced warehouse environment.

• Proficiency with warehouse management systems and basic computer applications.

• Problem-solving mindset with attention to detail and operational efficiency.

• Commitment to safety, quality, and team collaboration.

Experience

• Previous experience in a warehouse, logistics, or distribution environment is preferred.

• Prior supervisory or team lead experience is advantageous but not required, as leadership training is provided.

Working Hours

• Full-time position, with flexible shift schedules including mornings, evenings, or weekends depending on operational needs.

• Opportunities for overtime may be available during peak periods.
