Job Summary

United Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our hospital-based care teams. In this role, you will provide essential hands-on patient care in a fast-paced acute care environment, supporting nurses and physicians to ensure patients receive high-quality, safe, and respectful care. Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living, including bathing, grooming, dressing, feeding, and mobility

  • Monitor and record vital signs such as blood pressure, temperature, pulse, and respiration

  • Support patients during transfers, ambulation, and use of mobility aids

  • Maintain patient comfort, safety, and dignity at all times

  • Assist nursing staff with clinical tasks as delegated and within CNA scope of practice

  • Observe and promptly report changes in patient condition to the nursing team

  • Maintain accurate documentation in electronic health records (EHR)

  • Ensure infection control standards and hospital safety protocols are followed

  • Provide emotional support to patients and families in a professional and compassionate manner


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Valid Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) or CPR certification

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to work effectively in a team-oriented hospital environment

  • Compassionate, patient-centered approach to care

  • Physical ability to assist with patient movement and extended periods of standing

  • Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety


Experience

  • Previous experience as a CNA in a hospital, acute care, or clinical setting preferred

  • New graduates or entry-level CNAs with clinical training are encouraged to apply

  • Experience with electronic medical records (EMR/EHR) systems is an advantage


Working Hours

  • Flexible scheduling options including day, evening, night, and rotating shifts

  • Weekends, holidays, and overtime may be required based on hospital needs

  • Full-time and part-time positions available

  • Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and hospital protocols
