Job Summary

United Healthcare is seeking compassionate and dedicated Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) to join our skilled nursing homes on a full-time basis. In this role, you will play a vital part in delivering high-quality, patient-centered care to residents who require long-term or post-acute support. As a CNA, you will work closely with nurses and healthcare professionals to ensure residents comfort, safety, dignity, and overall well-being while upholding the highest standards of clinical care and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist residents with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, dressing, grooming, toileting, and mobility

  • Monitor and record vital signs, intake and output, and report any changes in residents conditions to nursing staff

  • Support residents during meals and assist with feeding when required

  • Reposition and transfer residents safely using appropriate techniques and equipment

  • Maintain a clean, safe, and organized care environment

  • Provide emotional support and companionship to residents, promoting dignity and respect

  • Follow infection control, safety, and confidentiality policies at all times

  • Collaborate effectively with nurses, physicians, and other healthcare team members

  • Accurately document care provided in accordance with facility and regulatory requirements


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Active Certified Nursing Assistant (CNA) certification

  • High school diploma or equivalent

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills

  • Ability to follow care plans and clinical instructions accurately

  • Compassionate, patient-focused approach to care

  • Physical ability to perform job duties, including lifting and standing for extended periods


Experience

  • Prior experience as a CNA in a skilled nursing home, long-term care facility, or healthcare setting preferred

  • New graduates with valid CNA certification are encouraged to apply


Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Flexible scheduling options, including day, evening, night, weekend, and holiday shifts as required


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities
