Job Summary

Progressive Technology is seeking a talented and creative Freelance UI/UX Design Associate to join our dynamic remote team. In this part-time role, you will be responsible for designing user-friendly interfaces and enhancing user experiences across our web and mobile platforms. You will collaborate closely with product managers, developers, and marketing teams to translate business goals into visually appealing, intuitive, and functional designs. Key Responsibilities

• Design and develop wireframes, prototypes, and UI mockups for web and mobile applications.

• Conduct user research and usability testing to understand user needs and pain points.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure design consistency and technical feasibility.

• Develop and maintain a consistent design system, including style guides, color palettes, and typography standards.

• Translate user feedback and analytics into design improvements for enhanced usability.

• Create engaging visual elements, layouts, and interactions that align with brand identity and product objectives.

• Stay updated with the latest UI/UX trends, tools, and technologies to continuously improve design quality.

• Present design concepts and ideas clearly to stakeholders and incorporate constructive feedback efficiently.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Design, Human-Computer Interaction, Visual Arts, or a related field (or equivalent experience).

• Proficiency in design and prototyping tools such as Figma, Adobe XD, Sketch, or InVision.

• Solid understanding of responsive design principles and user-centered design processes.

• Strong portfolio showcasing UI/UX design projects across various digital platforms.

• Familiarity with front-end technologies (HTML, CSS, JavaScript) is an added advantage.

• Excellent visual design skills and attention to detail.

• Strong communication and collaboration abilities for working in a remote environment.

Experience

• Minimum 1–3 years of experience in UI/UX design, preferably in freelance or remote settings.

• Experience working with cross-functional teams and contributing to product design from concept to execution.

Working Hours

• Part-time, flexible schedule (approximately 15–20 hours per week).

• Fully remote — work from anywhere with a reliable internet connection.

• Timely submission of deliverables and participation in virtual meetings as required.
