Job Summary

The Elite Job is seeking a talented and motivated Front-End Developer to join our dynamic remote team in Brazil. In this role, you will be responsible for creating visually stunning, user-friendly web interfaces that enhance user experience and ensure seamless interaction across all platforms. You will collaborate closely with designers, backend developers, and product managers to translate ideas into clean, efficient, and responsive web solutions using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain responsive, high-performance web interfaces using HTML, CSS, and JavaScript.

• Collaborate with UX/UI designers to translate design wireframes into functional, interactive web pages.

• Optimize applications for maximum speed and scalability across different browsers and devices.

• Implement best practices for clean, maintainable, and reusable code.

• Integrate front-end code with back-end APIs and data sources.

• Troubleshoot and resolve front-end issues and ensure cross-browser compatibility.

• Stay updated on emerging technologies, frameworks, and design trends to continuously improve performance and user experience.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to improving development standards and processes.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in HTML5, CSS3, and JavaScript (ES6+).

• Strong understanding of responsive design principles and mobile-first development.

• Experience with version control systems (preferably Git).

• Knowledge of front-end build tools such as Webpack, npm, or Gulp.

• Familiarity with modern JavaScript frameworks/libraries such as React, Vue.js, or Angular is a plus.

• Understanding of RESTful APIs and JSON.

• Ability to write clean, efficient, and well-documented code.

• Excellent problem-solving and debugging skills.

• Strong communication skills in both English and Portuguese.

Experience

• 2+ years of experience in front-end web development or a related field.

• Proven portfolio or project samples showcasing front-end development capabilities.

• Experience working in an Agile or remote team environment is preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote schedule aligned with Brazil Standard Time (BRT).

• Core collaboration hours between 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM BRT.

• Occasional meetings with global teams may require flexibility.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong understanding of UI/UX principles and accessibility standards.

• Familiarity with cross-browser and cross-platform compatibility challenges.

• Knowledge of SEO best practices related to front-end development.

• Ability to manage time effectively and meet project deadlines.

• Team-oriented mindset with a proactive approach to problem-solving.

• Adaptability and eagerness to learn new technologies quickly.
