Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a meticulous and highly organized Bookkeeper to manage financial records for clients in the agriculture sector using Ease Cloud Accounting Services. This is a fully remote position, ideal for professionals who are detail-oriented, reliable, and have a strong understanding of accounting processes. The Bookkeeper will play a key role in ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant financial reporting to support business decisions and maintain financial integrity.

Key Responsibilities

• Maintain and update financial records for agricultural clients using Ease Cloud Accounting Services.

• Record day-to-day financial transactions, including purchases, sales, receipts, and payments.

• Reconcile bank statements, accounts payable, and accounts receivable to ensure accuracy.

• Prepare and maintain reports such as trial balances, profit and loss statements, and balance sheets.

• Ensure compliance with relevant financial regulations, standards, and internal policies.

• Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and financial planning for agricultural operations.

• Identify and rectify discrepancies in financial documents and reports.

• Collaborate with clients and internal teams to resolve accounting queries.

• Support the preparation of annual financial statements and tax filings.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proven experience as a Bookkeeper or in a similar accounting role.

• Proficiency with Ease Cloud Accounting Services or similar accounting software.

• Strong knowledge of accounting principles, bookkeeping, and financial reporting.

• Excellent numerical and analytical skills.

• Attention to detail and high level of accuracy.

• Ability to manage multiple accounts and prioritize tasks effectively.

• Strong communication skills for remote collaboration with clients and team members.

• Familiarity with the agricultural sector is a plus.

Experience

• Minimum of 2 years of professional bookkeeping experience.

• Experience in cloud-based accounting platforms is highly preferred.

• Previous experience handling agricultural accounts is advantageous but not mandatory.

Working Hours
