HR Service Jobs is seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Quality Control Assistant to join a reputed food manufacturing unit. This position is ideal for candidates with a background in Chemistry (B.Sc preferred) who are eager to ensure the highest standards of food safety, hygiene, and compliance. You will play a critical role in maintaining quality benchmarks across the production line, ensuring all products meet internal and regulatory specifications.
Conduct regular quality checks of raw materials, in-process items, and finished products.
Implement and maintain quality assurance procedures aligned with food safety standards (FSSAI, ISO, HACCP, etc.).
Prepare and maintain accurate records of quality tests, inspections, and audits.
Coordinate with production staff to resolve quality issues in real-time.
Assist in the calibration and maintenance of laboratory and quality testing equipment.
Report any deviations or non-conformities to the Quality Control Manager.
Support in internal audits and compliance documentation.
Help train production staff on hygiene and quality protocols.
Bachelors degree in Chemistry, Food Science, Microbiology, or a related discipline (B.Sc Chemistry preferred).
Basic knowledge of food safety regulations and quality standards.
Proficiency in using laboratory instruments and preparing chemical solutions.
Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
Ability to work independently and within a team.
Good communication skills – written and verbal.
Proficient in MS Office, especially Excel and Word.
0–2 years of experience in Quality Control or Quality Assurance, preferably in a food manufacturing setup.
Fresh graduates with relevant internships or academic project work in quality testing are encouraged to apply.
Full-time, 6 days a week
Day Shift (General/Rotational, depending on production schedule)
Shift timings: 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM
Strong foundation in basic chemistry and analytical techniques
Understanding of food contamination sources and preventive measures
Ability to interpret technical data and quality parameters
Comfortable working in factory/lab environments with strict hygiene protocols
Team-oriented with the ability to work under pressure and tight deadlines
