Amazon is seeking a results-driven and hands-on Inbound Supervisor to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center operations team. As an Inbound Supervisor, you will play a critical role in managing the daily inbound flow of goods, monitoring warehouse receiving processes, and ensuring seamless execution of inventory intake. You will lead a team of associates, oversee performance, and uphold Amazons high standards of safety, productivity, and quality—supporting both day and night shifts based on operational requirements.
Supervise daily inbound operations including unloading, scanning, sorting, and stowing inventory.
Ensure efficient process execution by monitoring KPIs and aligning labor to forecasted workload.
Coordinate with transportation and delivery teams to manage dock scheduling and trailer processing.
Lead, train, and mentor warehouse associates, promoting a culture of continuous improvement.
Identify bottlenecks and initiate corrective actions to meet performance and safety targets.
Collaborate with area managers, IT, and support teams to resolve issues affecting inbound flow.
Enforce compliance with safety standards, operational policies, and company procedures.
Conduct audits to verify inventory accuracy and inbound process integrity.
Prepare daily/weekly performance reports and participate in strategic planning meetings.
Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain Management, Business, or a related field (or equivalent experience).
Strong leadership and team management skills with experience in supervising warehouse personnel.
Solid understanding of inbound operations and warehouse logistics.
Proficiency in data analysis tools, WMS systems, and Microsoft Office (especially Excel).
Excellent communication, problem-solving, and organizational skills.
Ability to work independently in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment.
2–5 years of experience in warehouse, logistics, or supply chain operations.
At least 1 year in a supervisory or team lead role, preferably in an inbound or receiving department.
Experience in high-volume fulfillment environments is highly desirable.
Rotational shifts including both day and night shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed.
Flexibility to work extended hours during peak seasons.
Knowledge of warehouse safety protocols and lean process methodologies.
Strong interpersonal skills to lead, coach, and develop large teams.
Ability to multitask and prioritize effectively under pressure.
Detail-oriented with the ability to identify root causes and implement practical solutions.
Adaptable to new technologies and continuous process improvement initiatives.
