Amazon is looking for a detail-oriented and dependable Inventory Control Specialist to join our dynamic Fulfillment Center (FC) operations team. In this role, you will ensure the accuracy and integrity of our inventory through regular audits, real-time data checks, and inventory quality control procedures. Your work will be critical in maintaining seamless supply chain processes and ensuring that customers receive their orders on time and as expected.

Perform daily inventory counts, audits, and quality checks to ensure accurate stock records.
Investigate and resolve inventory discrepancies by conducting root cause analysis.
Operate handheld scanners and use inventory management software for real-time tracking.
Monitor inventory movement including inbound and outbound shipments.
Coordinate with operations, procurement, and shipping teams to maintain stock integrity.
Conduct cycle counts and assist in full physical inventory processes.
Flag damaged or misrouted items and report inconsistencies to supervisors.
Ensure compliance with Amazons safety, operational, and quality standards.
Support new process rollouts and continuously suggest inventory control improvements.
High School Diploma or equivalent; a Bachelors degree in Logistics, Supply Chain, or Business is a plus.
Proficient in MS Excel, Google Sheets, and inventory management systems (Oracle, SAP, etc.).
Ability to analyze inventory data and draw actionable insights.
Strong attention to detail and accuracy in data handling.
Excellent communication and problem-solving skills.
Ability to lift and move packages (as required in on-site roles).
Knowledge of barcode scanning and RF devices.
1–3 years of experience in inventory control, warehouse management, supply chain operations, or logistics.
Prior experience in high-volume fulfillment centers or distribution hubs is highly preferred.
8-hour shifts; availability for day, evening, or night shifts may be required.
Weekend or holiday shifts may be scheduled depending on operational needs.

Working knowledge of inventory workflows and control practices.
Familiarity with warehouse layout optimization and slotting strategies.
Ability to multitask and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
