Job Summary

Amazon is seeking a highly motivated and results-driven Process Engineer (Work from Home) to join our dynamic remote operations team. As a Process Engineer, you will be responsible for designing, optimizing, and implementing scalable operational processes across various departments. Key Responsibilities

• Analyze existing business processes and identify areas for improvement and automation.

• Develop detailed process maps, standard operating procedures (SOPs), and best practices.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams including operations, product, and technology teams.

• Monitor and report process performance metrics to track improvements and identify bottlenecks.

• Conduct root cause analysis to troubleshoot operational challenges and inefficiencies.

• Drive continuous improvement initiatives using Lean, Six Sigma, and other methodologies.

• Implement data-driven solutions using advanced analytical tools and dashboards.

• Support change management and training efforts during process rollouts or updates.

• Ensure process compliance with internal policies and external regulations.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Industrial Engineering, Mechanical Engineering, Operations Management, or a related field.

• Proven experience in process engineering, operations, or a similar analytical role.

• Strong knowledge of Lean, Six Sigma, or other continuous improvement methodologies.

• Proficiency in MS Excel, SQL, and process mapping tools (e.g., Lucidchart, Visio).

• Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and critical-thinking skills.

• Strong interpersonal and communication skills to collaborate across teams.

• Self-motivated with the ability to work independently in a remote environment.

Experience

• 2+ years of hands-on experience in process engineering or operations roles.

• Experience working in e-commerce, logistics, or tech-enabled environments is highly desirable.

• Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Tableau, Power BI) is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible work schedule aligned with global teams, typically 40 hours per week.

• Core collaboration hours: 10:00 AM – 6:00 PM (based on your time zone).

• Occasional evening or weekend meetings based on project needs or time zones.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Deep understanding of process lifecycle management.

• Ability to lead remote process workshops and stakeholder meetings.

• Strong organizational and time management skills.

• Capability to handle multiple projects simultaneously under tight deadlines.
