Job Summary

Amazon is seeking detail-oriented and tech-savvy individuals for the role of Quality Assurance Virtual Tester. This remote position is perfect for professionals passionate about quality control, user experience, and product testing. You will play a key role in ensuring that Amazons digital platforms, services, and applications perform flawlessly by executing structured test cases, identifying bugs, and collaborating with development teams.

Key Responsibilities

• Execute predefined test cases and report issues accurately and clearly.

• Validate the functionality, reliability, and performance of new features and services.

• Identify and document bugs, inconsistencies, and usability issues.

• Collaborate with QA leads, developers, and product teams to understand testing requirements.

• Provide feedback on customer experience from the end-user perspective.

• Maintain up-to-date knowledge on Amazon systems and testing tools.

• Assist in continuous improvement of testing processes and workflows.

• Adhere to confidentiality and data security policies at all times.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, IT, Engineering, or any relevant field (or equivalent experience).

• Basic knowledge of software development life cycle (SDLC) and testing methodologies.

• Familiarity with QA tools such as JIRA, TestRail, or similar platforms.

• Excellent verbal and written communication skills.

• Strong attention to detail and ability to work independently.

• Comfortable working with web-based and mobile applications.

• Analytical mindset with the ability to troubleshoot and logically diagnose issues.

Experience

• 1–3 years of experience in software quality assurance, manual testing, or related fields.

• Freshers with strong academic backgrounds and hands-on project experience in QA or testing will also be considered.

Working Hours

• Flexible shift options (including part-time and full-time schedules).

• Must be available for at least 4–6 hours/day on weekdays.

• Occasional weekend or evening work may be required depending on project timelines.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Strong grasp of QA principles, testing types (functional, regression, usability, etc.).

• Ability to adapt quickly to changing technologies and project requirements.

• Self-motivated, resourceful, and capable of managing time effectively in a remote setup.

• Ability to document clearly and report findings with precision.
