Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is seeking a highly skilled Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our Onsite Infrastructure Team. In this role, you will bridge the gap between software development and IT operations by automating infrastructure tasks, ensuring the availability, performance, scalability, and reliability of our systems. You will play a key role in maintaining critical production systems and continuously improving our operations through engineering best practices.


Key Responsibilities

  • Design, implement, and manage scalable infrastructure solutions using modern automation tools and frameworks.

  • Monitor system performance, troubleshoot issues, and proactively optimize reliability and uptime.

  • Collaborate with software developers, system administrators, and security teams to support deployment, incident response, and performance monitoring.

  • Develop and maintain Infrastructure-as-Code (IaC) for consistent and repeatable provisioning.

  • Implement service-level objectives (SLOs), service-level indicators (SLIs), and error budgets to drive operational excellence.

  • Manage CI/CD pipelines to streamline software delivery processes.

  • Perform root cause analysis for service interruptions and take corrective actions to avoid recurrence.

  • Participate in on-call rotation and incident management processes to ensure round-the-clock support.

  • Write clear documentation for infrastructure configurations, procedures, and playbooks.

  • Provide technical mentorship and support to junior team members.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or related field (or equivalent work experience).

  • Proficiency in Linux/Unix system administration.

  • Hands-on experience with containerization tools (e.g., Docker, Kubernetes).

  • Strong scripting and automation skills using Bash, Python, or similar languages.

  • Experience with cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, or Azure).

  • Knowledge of monitoring and observability tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK Stack, etc.).

  • Familiarity with configuration management tools (e.g., Ansible, Puppet, Chef).

  • Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and communication skills.


Experience

  • Minimum 3–6 years of experience in a Site Reliability, DevOps, or Systems Engineering role.

  • Proven track record in supporting production environments with a focus on scalability and resilience.


Working Hours

  • Full-time position

  • Standard working hours: 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (Monday to Friday)

  • Availability for on-call support and critical incident handling as part of a rotational schedule.

  • Ability to work independently and collaboratively in high-pressure environments.
