Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking passionate and dynamic Entertainment Performers – Singers and Dancers to join the Cruise Event Team aboard luxury cruise ships. This is a unique opportunity to showcase your talent to international audiences while traveling across the globe. As part of the onboard entertainment crew, you will be responsible for delivering high-energy performances, participating in daily events, and creating unforgettable guest experiences through music, dance, and interactive entertainment.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform in high-quality musical and dance productions scheduled throughout the cruise.

• Participate in rehearsals, costume fittings, and technical runs as per show requirements.

• Engage and interact with guests during entertainment events, theme nights, and parties.

• Maintain top-level physical fitness and performance quality throughout contract duration.

• Work collaboratively with choreographers, musical directors, and fellow cast members.

• Follow safety protocols and shipboard procedures during performances and drills.

• Support other entertainment duties such as hosting game shows, MC-ing events, or leading group activities, as needed.

• Uphold the cruise lines brand image and contribute positively to guest satisfaction.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Professional level skills in singing or dancing (audition/demo may be required).

• Strong stage presence, charisma, and ability to captivate audiences of all ages.

• Excellent teamwork and communication skills in a multicultural environment.

• Ability to learn choreography and musical arrangements quickly and accurately.

• Willingness to adhere to shipboard policies, appearance standards, and schedules.

Experience

• Minimum 1–2 years of stage performance experience in theatre, cruise lines, or live entertainment venues.

• Prior cruise ship experience is a plus but not mandatory.

• Experience with diverse music styles (pop, rock, jazz, classical) and dance forms (contemporary, Latin, hip-hop, ballroom) is preferred.

Working Hours

• Contract duration typically ranges from 6 to 9 months.

• Rotational shifts including evening performances, rehearsals, and daytime guest engagements.

• Time off provided during non-performance days and port docking hours (as per ship schedule).

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Vocalists: Ability to perform solo, duet, or ensemble numbers across genres.

• Dancers: High technical proficiency with strong flexibility and stamina.

• Adaptability to dynamic schedules and ability to perform under pressure.

• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with guests in a professional and friendly manner.

• Multilingual skills are a plus (especially English, Spanish, Italian, or French).
