Houston Skilled Consultancy is hiring passionate and detail-oriented Cruise Ship Cabin Stewards for a world-renowned luxury cruise line. As a Cabin Steward, you will be responsible for maintaining the highest standards of cleanliness, comfort, and guest satisfaction in staterooms and suites onboard.

Key Responsibilities

• Perform daily cleaning and sanitization of assigned guest cabins, including changing linens, vacuuming, dusting, and replenishing amenities.

• Ensure all guest areas are maintained according to cruise line standards and safety regulations.

• Report maintenance issues, lost items, and any irregularities to the housekeeping supervisor.

• Provide personalized, friendly, and attentive service to passengers, addressing any requests efficiently.

• Replenish towels, toiletries, and minibar items as required.

• Assist with embarkation and disembarkation procedures, luggage handling, and general guest support.

• Maintain proper inventory of linen and cleaning supplies.

• Uphold cleanliness protocols in accordance with public health regulations (e.g., USPH, HACCP).

Required Skills and Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent.

• Good communication skills in English (spoken and written).

• Physically fit with the ability to perform repetitive tasks and lift heavy items.

• Positive attitude, professional demeanor, and ability to work under pressure.

• High level of personal hygiene and attention to detail.

• Ability to work in multicultural teams and follow structured routines.

Experience

• Minimum 1 year of professional housekeeping experience in hotels, resorts, or cruise ships preferred.

• Prior experience in a fast-paced hospitality or travel environment will be considered an asset.

• Freshers with strong motivation and basic housekeeping knowledge may also apply.

Working Hours

• 10 to 12 hours per day, 6 to 7 days per week (rotational shifts).

• Contract duration typically ranges from 6 to 9 months, with the possibility of extension based on performance.

• Accommodation and meals are provided onboard during the contract period.

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• Knowledge of cleaning tools, chemicals, and equipment.

• Familiarity with international hygiene and sanitation standards.

• Strong time management and multitasking ability.

• Discretion, integrity, and the ability to handle guest property responsibly.

• Flexibility to adapt to shipboard life, cultural diversity, and long working hours.
