Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is actively seeking a detail-oriented Claims Processing Assistant to join our growing operations team. This role is ideal for professionals who thrive in a fast-paced, accuracy-driven environment and are passionate about delivering exceptional service in the healthcare or insurance claims space. The selected candidate will assist in verifying, processing, and reconciling claims, ensuring timely and error-free submission while complying with internal policies and regulatory guidelines.


Key Responsibilities

  • Review and process insurance and healthcare claims with accuracy and speed.

  • Validate claim details, identify discrepancies, and correct incomplete or incorrect information.

  • Maintain up-to-date records of all claims processed using designated systems and databases.

  • Collaborate with internal departments (e.g., billing, customer service) for additional documentation or clarification.

  • Monitor and track claim status through follow-ups with clients, insurers, and third-party vendors.

  • Identify and escalate unresolved or high-value discrepancies to senior claims analysts or management.

  • Maintain strict adherence to privacy and confidentiality standards.

  • Assist in generating daily, weekly, and monthly reports on claim status and processing metrics.


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Bachelors degree in Business Administration, Insurance, Healthcare Management, or a related field.

  • Basic understanding of insurance/claims terminology and processing workflows.

  • Strong data entry skills with attention to detail and high accuracy.

  • Proficiency in MS Office Suite (especially Excel and Outlook).

  • Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.

  • Ability to work independently with minimal supervision while meeting deadlines.


Experience

  • 1–2 years of experience in claims processing, insurance operations, or healthcare back-office roles preferred.

  • Freshers with relevant academic background and strong analytical skills may also apply.


Working Hours

  • Monday to Friday

  • 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (IST)

  • Occasional flexibility may be required depending on project deadlines.


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of health insurance policies, medical coding (ICD/CPT), or third-party payer systems is a plus.

  • Ability to analyze and interpret complex documentation.

  • Strong organizational and multitasking abilities.

  • Ethical mindset with a commitment to maintaining confidentiality.

  • Quick learner and adaptable to new technologies and processes.
