SysTechCare Support is seeking a skilled and motivated ServiceNow Developer to join our Internal IT Projects team. This role is focused on designing, developing, and implementing innovative solutions within the ServiceNow platform to optimize and support internal IT operations and service delivery. The ideal candidate will possess strong technical expertise in ServiceNow development and a deep understanding of ITSM and enterprise automation processes.
Develop and customize ServiceNow applications and modules, including workflows, scripts, UI policies, business rules, and client scripts.
Collaborate with internal stakeholders to understand business requirements and translate them into technical solutions using the ServiceNow platform.
Implement and support core ITSM modules: Incident, Problem, Change, Service Request, Knowledge Management, CMDB, etc.
Manage integrations between ServiceNow and other internal or third-party systems using REST/SOAP APIs.
Ensure platform stability and performance through routine maintenance, upgrades, and patches.
Create and maintain technical documentation, user guides, and support materials.
Follow Agile/Scrum methodologies in development and deployment processes.
Participate in ServiceNow governance and best practice sessions to enhance platform capability and consistency.
Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field.
ServiceNow Certified Application Developer or ServiceNow System Administrator Certification.
Strong hands-on experience in scripting languages (JavaScript, Glide, Jelly).
Proficiency in developing catalog items, flows, UI actions, data policies, and ACLs.
Experience with integrations using RESTful and SOAP web services.
Strong understanding of ITIL principles and practices.
Excellent problem-solving, debugging, and analytical skills.
Ability to work independently and as part of a distributed team.
Minimum 3–5 years of professional experience in ServiceNow development.
Proven record of delivering ServiceNow-based ITSM or ITOM projects within enterprise environments.
Experience working in Agile project settings preferred.
Full-Time: 40 hours per week
Flexible work schedule with core collaboration hours (10:00 AM – 4:00 PM IST)
May require occasional evening meetings depending on global team coordination.
