SysTechCare Support is looking for a talented and detail-oriented Firmware Developer – Onsite Hardware Integration to join our dynamic engineering team. This role involves hands-on development, testing, and integration of embedded firmware solutions into real-time hardware environments. As a key contributor, you will collaborate closely with hardware engineers, system architects, and QA teams to ensure seamless firmware functionality across a broad range of next-generation electronic devices.
Develop, implement, and maintain embedded firmware for custom hardware platforms.
Participate in hardware integration efforts, ensuring proper operation between firmware and electronics.
Design firmware architecture and write robust, efficient code in C/C++ for embedded systems.
Interface with microcontrollers, sensors, and peripherals using protocols like SPI, I2C, UART, etc.
Conduct board bring-up and debug low-level issues using oscilloscopes, logic analyzers, and JTAG tools.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define requirements and ensure successful delivery of integrated solutions.
Write and maintain technical documentation, including design specs, user manuals, and testing procedures.
Perform validation, troubleshooting, and optimization of firmware performance in an onsite lab environment.
Bachelors or Masters degree in Electrical Engineering, Computer Engineering, Embedded Systems, or a related field.
Strong proficiency in embedded C/C++ programming.
Experience with Real-Time Operating Systems (RTOS) and bare-metal programming.
Familiarity with firmware development tools such as Keil, IAR, MPLAB, or GCC.
Deep understanding of embedded communication protocols (SPI, I2C, UART, CAN, USB, etc.).
Knowledge of debugging tools (JTAG, oscilloscopes, logic analyzers).
Hands-on experience in integrating and testing firmware on physical hardware platforms.
Excellent analytical, problem-solving, and debugging skills.
2 to 5 years of professional experience in embedded firmware development and hardware integration.
Previous experience in product-based companies or R&D environments is highly desirable.
Experience with board bring-up and low-level driver development is a plus.
Monday to Friday, 9:00 AM to 6:00 PM (Onsite)
Occasional extended hours may be required during testing or product deployment phases.
Strong understanding of microcontroller and microprocessor architectures.
Ability to read and interpret hardware schematics and datasheets.
High level of precision, attention to detail, and adherence to coding standards.
