Job Summary

SysTechCare Support is looking for a talented and passionate Android App Developer to join our on-site mobile development team. The ideal candidate will be responsible for building, maintaining, and optimizing cutting-edge Android applications that engage users and align with our brand. This is a hands-on development role requiring deep expertise in the Android ecosystem, particularly in Kotlin and Java, and a solid understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.

Key Responsibilities

• Design, build, and maintain advanced applications for the Android platform using Kotlin and/or Java.

• Collaborate with cross-functional teams to define, design, and ship new features.

• Work closely with UI/UX designers to ensure technical feasibility and a seamless user experience.

• Identify and correct bottlenecks and fix bugs to improve application performance and stability.

• Conduct code reviews, write unit and UI tests, and participate in software design discussions.

• Stay current with emerging mobile technologies and propose new tools and methodologies for continuous improvement.

• Ensure applications meet security, performance, and reliability standards.

• Optimize app performance for different screen sizes and Android OS versions.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Proficiency in Kotlin and Java for Android development.

• Strong knowledge of Android SDK, Android Studio, and different versions of Android OS.

• Experience with RESTful APIs to connect Android applications to back-end services.

• Familiarity with cloud message APIs and push notifications.

• Solid understanding of Android architectural components (MVVM, LiveData, Room, DataBinding, etc.).

• Experience with third-party libraries and APIs (e.g., Retrofit, Glide, Firebase).

• Understanding of Googles Android design principles and interface guidelines.

• Ability to work with version control tools like Git.

Experience

• 2–5 years of proven experience in Android mobile application development.

• Hands-on experience in publishing apps to the Google Play Store.

• Experience in working with Agile/Scrum methodologies is a plus.

Working Hours

• Monday to Friday

• 9:00 AM – 6:00 PM (including 1-hour lunch break)

• Occasional flexibility may be required depending on project needs.
