Job Summary

Houston Skilled Consultancy is seeking a talented and experienced React Native Developer to join our fully remote technology team. As a key member of our mobile and web app development unit, you will play a crucial role in designing, building, and maintaining cross-platform applications that deliver high performance, seamless user experience, and outstanding functionality. This role is ideal for someone who is passionate about clean code, scalable architecture, and working collaboratively in an agile development environment.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop and maintain high-quality mobile and web applications using React Native.

• Write clean, reusable, and scalable code while following best practices and coding standards.

• Integrate third-party APIs and native device features (camera, GPS, storage, etc.).

• Collaborate with designers, product managers, and other developers to define and implement robust features.

• Debug and resolve technical issues and perform thorough testing across devices and platforms.

• Optimize application performance and user experience for both Android and iOS.

• Participate in code reviews and contribute to continuous improvement initiatives.

• Stay up to date with new trends and technologies in mobile and frontend development.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong proficiency in React Native and JavaScript/TypeScript.

• Solid experience integrating RESTful APIs and managing state with Redux, Context API, or similar.

• Understanding of mobile app architecture and deployment processes (Google Play Store, Apple App Store).

• Familiarity with native build tools like Xcode, Android Studio, and version control systems (Git).

• Knowledge of debugging and performance profiling tools.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Experience

• 2+ years of professional experience developing mobile applications using React Native.

• Hands-on experience with at least one live project in production.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum-based development cycles is preferred.

Working Hours

• Flexible work hours with a requirement to be available during core collaboration hours (11:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST).

• Fully remote work setup—work from anywhere.
