Job Summary:

Houston Skilled Consultancy is looking for a skilled and creative Flutter Developer to join our growing remote engineering team. As a cross-platform mobile app developer, you will be responsible for developing and maintaining high-performance applications using the Flutter framework. You will work closely with designers, product managers, and other developers to deliver seamless and visually stunning user experiences on both Android and iOS platforms.

Key Responsibilities:

• Develop, test, deploy, and maintain mobile applications using Flutter.

• Collaborate with UI/UX designers to translate designs and wireframes into high-quality code.

• Integrate RESTful APIs and third-party libraries to enhance app functionality.

• Participate in code reviews and ensure best practices in mobile development.

• Optimize application performance, responsiveness, and battery usage.

• Troubleshoot and debug issues across platforms and deliver timely fixes.

• Write clean, maintainable, and scalable code with proper documentation.

• Keep up to date with the latest mobile development trends and technologies.

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Proficiency in Dart programming language and the Flutter framework.

• Strong understanding of OOP concepts and mobile app architecture.

• Experience with state management tools (e.g., Provider, Riverpod, Bloc).

• Familiarity with native Android (Kotlin/Java) or iOS (Swift/Objective-C) is a plus.

• Experience in integrating Firebase, push notifications, and cloud services.

• Working knowledge of version control systems like Git.

• Understanding of the full mobile development lifecycle.

• Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.

Experience:

• Minimum 2+ years of experience in mobile app development.

• At least 1 year of hands-on experience with Flutter in a production environment.

• Experience with publishing apps on both Google Play Store and Apple App Store.

Working Hours:

• Flexible remote schedule with core working hours between 10:00 AM to 6:00 PM IST.

• Must be available for team sync-ups and sprint reviews as scheduled.
