Job Summary

MNC Jobs Info is seeking a highly skilled and detail-oriented API Integration Developer with expertise in Python and Node.js to join our dynamic and globally distributed tech team. In this remote role, you will be responsible for designing, developing, testing, and maintaining API integrations between various internal and third-party systems, enabling seamless data exchange and operational efficiency across platforms.

Key Responsibilities

• Design and implement reliable, secure, and scalable API integrations using Python and/or Node.js.

• Collaborate with product managers, backend/frontend teams, and DevOps to understand integration needs and deliver robust solutions.

• Develop RESTful and GraphQL APIs, and ensure their proper integration with external systems.

• Maintain and improve existing integrations, ensuring minimal downtime and optimal performance.

• Troubleshoot integration issues and work across teams to resolve system incompatibilities or bugs.

• Write clean, maintainable, well-documented code with strong unit test coverage.

• Maintain API documentation for internal and external developers.

• Implement authentication protocols (OAuth, API keys, etc.) for secure communication between systems.

• Proactively monitor, analyze, and optimize integration performance and reliability.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Strong programming proficiency in Python and/or Node.js.

• Hands-on experience with building and consuming RESTful APIs and GraphQL APIs.

• Experience with JSON, XML, and data transformation.

• Familiarity with integration middleware, API gateways, or platforms such as Postman, Swagger, Apigee, or AWS API Gateway.

• Understanding of OAuth2.0, JWT, SAML, and other API security practices.

• Good understanding of CI/CD pipelines and version control systems like Git.

• Experience with cloud environments (AWS, Azure, GCP) is a plus.

• Excellent communication skills and the ability to work independently in a remote setting.

Experience

• 3+ years of professional experience in API integration or backend development.

• Prior experience with third-party API integrations (e.g., payment gateways, CRM, ERP systems, social platforms, etc.) is preferred.

• Experience working in agile, remote, and cross-functional teams is a strong advantage.

Working Hours

• Flexible remote working hours.

• Preferred availability during core collaboration hours: 9:00 AM – 5:00 PM IST (India Standard Time) or equivalent in your time zone.

• Occasional meetings may be scheduled across different time zones based on project needs.
