Job Summary

MNC Jobs Info is seeking a highly motivated and experienced Remote Site Reliability Engineer (SRE) to join our global engineering team. As an SRE, you will play a key role in ensuring the reliability, scalability, and performance of our production systems and services. You will collaborate with developers, DevOps, and infrastructure teams to automate operations, prevent incidents, and improve system health. This role is ideal for someone passionate about system reliability, automation, and performance engineering, with a strong mindset for problem-solving and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities

• Ensure high availability, performance, and scalability of systems in production.

• Build and maintain monitoring, alerting, and reporting tools to support system health and diagnostics.

• Design and implement solutions to improve reliability and system performance.

• Collaborate with software engineers to integrate reliability into product design.

• Automate manual operational tasks using scripts or configuration management tools.

• Participate in incident response, root cause analysis, and post-mortem reviews.

• Maintain and improve CI/CD pipelines for smooth deployments.

• Manage infrastructure through Infrastructure as Code (IaC) practices using tools like Terraform or Ansible.

• Conduct regular disaster recovery tests and ensure backup procedures are followed.

• Ensure compliance with security and operational standards.

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field (or equivalent practical experience).

• Strong understanding of Linux/Unix system administration.

• Proficient in at least one programming or scripting language (Python, Bash, Go, etc.).

• Experience with container orchestration platforms like Kubernetes or Docker.

• Hands-on experience with cloud platforms such as AWS, Azure, or Google Cloud.

• Familiarity with monitoring and logging tools (Prometheus, Grafana, ELK stack, Datadog, etc.).

• Understanding of networking concepts, load balancing, and DNS.

• Knowledge of CI/CD practices and tools (Jenkins, GitHub Actions, etc.).

Experience

• Minimum of 3+ years of professional experience in Site Reliability Engineering, DevOps, or System Administration.

• Experience supporting mission-critical systems in a production environment.

• Previous experience in remote or distributed teams is a plus.

Working Hours

• Flexible working hours with a focus on collaboration across international time zones.

• Occasional on-call rotation for incident response (with compensation).
