🎯 Key Responsibilities

• Develop and execute comprehensive test plans, test cases, and test scripts for software validation.

• Conduct both manual and automated testing to ensure software quality across multiple platforms.

• Collaborate closely with developers, product managers, and other QA engineers to understand product requirements and functionality.

• Identify, report, and track software defects using bug tracking tools like JIRA, Bugzilla, or Azure DevOps.

• Validate software performance, security, compatibility, and usability.

• Participate in code reviews and requirement walkthroughs to ensure testability and adherence to business requirements.

• Contribute to continuous improvement initiatives within the QA process.

• Ensure compliance with industry standards and regulatory guidelines where applicable.

✅ Required Skills and Qualifications

• Bachelors degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, Engineering, or a related field.

• Proven experience in software validation and quality assurance (manual + automation).

• Proficiency with QA tools such as Selenium, TestNG, Postman, JIRA, Jenkins, or similar platforms.

• Strong understanding of QA methodologies, software development life cycles (SDLC), and defect tracking systems.

• Familiarity with programming or scripting languages such as Python, Java, or JavaScript.

• Excellent problem-solving and analytical skills.

• Strong written and verbal communication skills.

• Ability to work independently in a remote setting and manage multiple tasks effectively.

🧠 Experience

• Minimum of 2–5 years of hands-on experience in software validation and QA.

• Experience working in Agile/Scrum development environments is highly preferred.

• Prior exposure to working in a distributed remote team is a plus.

• Flexible work hours with a focus on team collaboration and timely deliverables.

• Must be available for team meetings and sync-ups during core working hours (typically 9 AM to 6 PM IST or as per project requirements).
