Key Responsibilities

  • Deliver high-quality personal care including washing, dressing, and toileting

  • Support clients with daily activities such as eating, medication reminders, and mobility assistance

  • Build strong, respectful relationships with clients and their families

  • Monitor and report changes in the physical or emotional state of clients

  • Encourage social interaction and mental stimulation

  • Maintain accurate records of care provided

  • Ensure a safe, hygienic, and supportive environment

  • Uphold the principles of confidentiality, dignity, and person-centered care


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • Compassionate and patient nature with a genuine desire to help others

  • Strong communication skills in English (verbal and written)

  • Ability to follow instructions and work independently or as part of a team

  • Basic understanding of health and safety principles in care

  • Willingness to undergo training and development

  • Physically fit to carry out manual handling and other physical tasks


Experience

  • Previous care experience is desirable but not mandatory

  • Full training will be provided for applicants new to the care industry

  • International candidates with experience in nursing, elderly care, or community support will be prioritized


Working Hours

  • Full-time: 35–48 hours per week

  • Shifts may include mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays

  • Overtime available

  • Flexible scheduling options depending on location and care package


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Understanding of the needs of the elderly and vulnerable individuals

  • Ability to adapt to different care environments (home care, residential care, live-in care)

  • Cultural sensitivity and an inclusive approach to care

  • Ability to use digital tools for reporting and logging care (training provided)

  • Proactive and able to work under minimal supervision
