Job Summary:

GracePath Healthcare is seeking compassionate, dedicated, and reliable Health Care Assistants to join our growing team in Beckenham. As a Health Care Assistant, you will play a critical role in delivering high-quality personal care and support to our clients in their homes or care settings, helping them maintain their dignity, independence, and overall well-being.

Key Responsibilities:

• Provide personal care, including bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting

• Assist with mobility and physical therapy exercises

• Support clients with meals and hydration according to dietary plans

• Monitor and record vital signs and report any changes in health conditions

• Offer emotional support and companionship to promote mental well-being

• Administer medication as per care plans (if trained and delegated)

• Maintain accurate and timely documentation of care provided

• Liaise with families, nurses, and other healthcare professionals when needed

• Adhere to infection control and health and safety protocols

Required Skills and Qualifications:

• Genuine passion for care and empathy towards vulnerable individuals

• Good verbal and written communication skills in English

• Basic knowledge of healthcare practices and patient care

• Eligibility to work in the UK (Visa sponsorship provided for suitable overseas candidates)

• Physically fit and able to perform manual handling and mobility tasks

Experience:

• Previous experience as a Health Care Assistant or similar role is preferred but not mandatory

• Full training will be provided for candidates new to the care sector

• Overseas healthcare or caregiving experience will be considered

Working Hours:

• Full-time and part-time positions available

• Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and night shifts

• Rotational shifts and block hours offered based on availability and client needs
