Key Responsibilities

• Deliver high-quality personal care, including bathing, dressing, toileting, and mobility assistance

• Assist clients with daily activities such as meal preparation, medication reminders, and companionship

• Provide emotional and physical support to clients in their homes or care facilities

• Maintain accurate care records and report any changes in the clients health or behaviour

• Work closely with healthcare professionals, families, and support teams to ensure optimal care outcomes

• Follow all health and safety protocols, safeguarding policies, and infection control procedures

• Encourage independence and promote the dignity and respect of every individual in care

Required Skills and Qualifications

• Good written and verbal communication skills in English

• Demonstrated empathy, patience, and strong interpersonal skills

• A genuine passion for working with elderly or vulnerable individuals

• Ability to follow care plans and work collaboratively in a team

• Basic understanding of hygiene, health, and safety practices in care settings

• Physically fit and able to handle the demands of caregiving duties

Experience

• Preferred: At least 1 year of caregiving or healthcare support experience (professional or voluntary)

• Freshers are welcome to apply if they demonstrate a strong commitment and willingness to learn

• Prior experience in elderly care, disability support, or domiciliary care will be an advantage

Working Hours

• Full-Time position (minimum 39 hours per week)

• Flexible shifts including mornings, evenings, weekends, and occasional nights

• Overtime opportunities available

Knowledge, Skills and Abilities

• Knowledge of elderly care practices and basic medical terminology

• Ability to remain calm and composed under pressure

• Skilled in building trustworthy relationships with clients and families

• Familiarity with UK Care Quality Commission (CQC) standards (training provided if required)

• Willingness to adapt to UK living and work culture
