Job Summary

GracePath Healthcare is seeking dedicated and compassionate Patient Care Technicians (PCTs) to join our growing U.S.-based team. This is a full-time opportunity offering relocation assistance and employment-based sponsorship for qualified international candidates. As a PCT, you will play a vital role in supporting nurses and doctors in delivering exceptional care to patients. Your presence and empathy will bring comfort to patients and ensure that their daily healthcare needs are met with respect and professionalism.


Key Responsibilities

  • Assist patients with activities of daily living (ADLs), including bathing, grooming, feeding, and mobility support

  • Monitor and document patients vital signs such as temperature, blood pressure, pulse, and respiration rate

  • Support nursing staff with patient care procedures, specimen collection, and equipment setup

  • Ensure cleanliness and organization of patient rooms and medical equipment

  • Report any changes in patient condition to nursing staff promptly

  • Transport patients between departments as needed

  • Maintain confidentiality and comply with HIPAA and organizational standards

  • Provide emotional support and foster a safe, compassionate environment for patients and their families


Required Skills and Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent required

  • Completion of a certified Patient Care Technician or Nursing Assistant program

  • Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification

  • Good understanding of patient care practices, safety protocols, and infection control

  • Strong interpersonal and communication skills

  • Ability to multitask in a fast-paced healthcare environment

  • Compassionate, reliable, and detail-oriented


Experience

  • Minimum of 6 months to 2 years of experience as a Patient Care Technician, Nursing Assistant, or similar clinical role preferred

  • Fresh graduates from accredited healthcare training programs may also be considered


Working Hours

  • Full-time: 36 to 40 hours per week

  • Shifts: Day, evening, and night shifts available, including weekends and holidays on a rotational basis

  • Overtime and weekend differentials may apply


Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

  • Knowledge of basic patient care procedures and medical terminology

  • Familiarity with electronic medical records (EMR) systems

  • Ability to maintain composure under pressure

  • Proficient in communicating with patients from diverse cultural and linguistic backgrounds

  • Flexibility to adapt to shifting clinical priorities
